| | Reflections: Carly Simon's Greatest Hits | ] | Throughout the day I have been watching coverage of D-Day celebrations on the BBC. Watching the coverage made me stop to think about the freedom I take for granted. Talking to my dad, it transpires that Grampie was involved in D-Day. I hope to learn more by speaking to Grampie.
I spent a lovely afternoon with Suz. We went to see the stage version of When Harry Met Sally. I very much enjoyed it! Molly Ringwald and Michael Landes starred. All the actors were very good. Although, Molly Ringwald was definitely the star of the show. I'm keen to watch some of her other work now. The production was very well designed. In particular, I loved the inclusion of other couples talking about how they met; this is something I had enjoyed in the film version. |

| | "Perfect Girl" by Sarah McLachlan | ] | I've had the best Valentine's Day! I met up with Suz, Laura Jo and Fi.
We had a big lunch in Pizza Hut; does eating salad as a starter make it a healthy meal? ;) Suz got me Hollywood Homicide and Le Divorce on DVD for my birthday. I think she should seriously consider becoming a professional mind-reader, as I was planning to buy those DVDs today. Lena Olin and Stockard Channing, what could be better? To finish off a lovely meal, my lovely sneaky friend Suz then surprised me with a birthday cake :).
Suz continued to spoil me at the cinema by buying me (and Laura Jo) sweeties; yes, we've eaten very healthily today *g*.
We all very much enjoyed Something's Gotta Give. It was the second time I'd seen it. Diane Keaton is such an inspiration!
We all agreed that we'd had a fantastic Valentine's Day. I seem to be saying this a lot this week, but my friends are great!
Hopefully I'll be seeing Laura Jo on Tuesday to watch Stargate. I know, it's scary, I find shippy Stargate episodes watchable *lol*.
I'm off out to Twickenham now (yes, it's madness on Valentine's Day / a rugby day *g*) to see my friend Nicki for birthday drinks. I'm really looking forward to it, as I haven't seen her for a couple of weeks :). |

I arrived at work to find a pile of birthday cards; my boss even sent me one. We've just had birthday cake, so we're now a little bit full *lol*.
My favourite birthday greeting has to be Suz's...
Roses are red violets are blue Irina loves Spy!Dad! And so do you too!

Suz bought me a signed Victor Garber trading card *thunk*. If I'm not careful, I'll go cross eyed from staring at it too much... Oh heck, I'll just have to get glasses *squeals with delight*.
((((big hugs for Suz)))) |

| | chipper | ] | Cheating? *lol* Never! Funnily enough, it was difficult to get the following answer. This is strange, as my ship is J/I. First time I did the quiz, I got S/V. Maybe deep down I'm a S/V shipper *rotflol*.
You are the hottness that is J/I. Chemistry out the wazoo! You're devoted 'til the end no matter what the outcome of your situation. There may be a lot of unspoken (and spoken) hatred but in the end love conquers all.
